I can't believe the first month of the first term is nearly through, I feel like we've been here only a week, and am ashamed to admit I am yet surprised at how much WORK we get doled out.

It appears that, despite the thrilling promotion, I did something very, very, very bad in a past life and earned an IDIOT for a partner to share Head Student duties with.

For future reference, Prefects? You are not the core group responsible for the "subtle reign of terror" upon Hogwarts. I do have to grudgingly allow that Potter was correct about using your powers well. Just not in his context!

Actually, it would be better if you never listened to Potter at all. He's clearly incapable and McGonagall and Dumbledore clearly have sick senses of humour. It's not even humour. This situation is not even remotely funny.
